Cauliflower Pizza

Today, we’re excited about our cauliflower pizza crust! Sometimes we top it with our favorite pizza toppings, but it’s flavorful enough on its own that you could eat it as a veggie side with your preferred protein.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 head cauliflower

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning (if you don’t have a blend, toss in some basil, parsley, garlic, and oregano!)

  • 1 egg with salt and pepper to taste

  • your preferred toppings such as arugula, proscuitto, and sauce

What To Do:

  1. Pulse the cauliflower into “rice” in your food processor. Throw into a microwave safe bowl and heat until cooked through.

  2. Once cooled, squeeze the water out through a colander or cheese cloth.

  3. Mix cauliflower, egg, and spices in a bowl until well combined.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and give it a spray with some cooking oil.

  5. Form the cauliflower in to 2-3 tarts about 1/4 inch thick.

  6. Pop the baking sheet into a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes. When the crusts look brown, give them a flip and cook on the other side for about 10 minutes.

  7. Let your crusts rest and crisp up for about 5 minutes and then top with your favorite toppings! We like fennel, tomato sauce, prosciutto, and arugula. Enjoy!
